    I know it's a little early in the season for grass drags but here is an opportunity to get our and do some racing. This is a new group trying to get something going so supporting them is good.
    I am sponsoring them with Shellbourne Fuels discount certificates as well as helping them out with vintage classes. (Scroll down for vintage classes)



    Snowmobile grass drag event at the 151st Lombardy Fair. Dry camping will be available for the racers for the weekend. Beer tent, midway, live entertainment all on site!

    ****CAMPING****
    $25.00 for the weekend (includes admission to the fair amenities for the weekend)

    $10.00 for racer admission for the day (race entry fees include pit passes)

    $10.00 for pit passes (for non racers)

    Spectator admission is $10.00 for the day.

    Registration/teching between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

    PLEASE NOTE EACH RACER IS SUBJECT TO A MANDATORY $10.00 INSURANCE/MEDIC FEE

    KIDS CLASS
    Any proceeds/donations to see the kiddies run will go towards the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario

    WOMEN'S BIKINI CLASS
    $20.00/class, 100% payout to the Breast Cancer Action Ottawa
    The more racers the better, will make exceptions if there are any men willing to wear bikinis

    STOCK CLASSES:
    $25.00/class, Trophy and $50.00 payout to winner
    No pipes, allowed. No four strokes (except for 4 stroke class), RS and IQR sleds to bump up a class.

    VINTAGE CLASSES
    THANK YOU TO ROB NOAKES FOR PUTTING THIS TOGETHER:

    Racers must be minimum 12 years old to race in the following classes.

    $25.00/class, Trophy and $50.00 payout to winner

    Vintage and Classic Run Whatcha Brung
    #1 Single Cylinder any size 1974 and older
    #2 Twin Cylinder any size 1974 and older
    #3 450 CC Max 1990 and older
    #4 550 CC Max 1990 and older
    #5 700 CC Max 1990 and older

    Personal Protective Equipment:
    Full face helmet recommended, must be current design, no Vintage helmets allowed
    Chest protector recommended but not mandatory
    Closed shoes or boots and long pants must be worn and must be substantial.
    Goggles or face shield required

    Tech Rules:
    Braking systems can be upgraded in any class to improve safety.
    Picks allowed in Run Whatcha Brung Classes
    Full snow/mud flap
    Skis must be in good condition with no repairs done.
    Must have working tether
    Must have working brake
    Metal belt guard between belt and driver
    Hood must be secured

    Cleated tracks: Sleds that were OEM equipped with cleated tracks can be run in all classes. Replacement tracks can be run as well if the sled was OEM with a cleated track. Tracks must be fully inspected by the driver and each cleat and rivet/stud to be marked with red paint or red permanent marker so tech can confirm inspection has been done. Track belting to must not have excessive cracking, fraying or any missing pieces.

    Drivers may be required to sign a separate waiver. The use of warm up stands is banned for sleds with cleated tracks.
    Cleated tracks are only to be under power when flat on the ground, no exceptions.

    Warm Up Stands: All warm up stands must include a full enclosure rear and sides to capture anything ejected from the spinning track. They must have a positive hook to ensure the sled cannot slip off when being used. Tether must be worn by the operator during any warm up on the warm up stand or when engine is running. The use of warm up stands is banned for sleds with cleated tracks.

    Run Whatcha Brung Class: Any chassis engine set up as long as both are from snowmobiles and are age correct. Any engine, drive train and chassis mods are ok as long as they are sound and safe to run.

    Feel free to pass it on to the organizer that if they need on site medics I can set them up
