Seems like if its froze up before it snows we have a light winter last year this time it rained, minus 4 F on our deck at the moment, but your rite wish the swamps were froze up but we get out and pack with sleds and Argo on tracks and soon everything gets tight as can be fact is its tough to get a trail system operational much before second week of January but we live in constant hope that it will be sooner here on the ranch we got plenty of bush trails open and have been out paddling about for a week now some lakes iced over now.R DSCF6361.JPG

Yea Ron we have got good ice on the lakes clear blue 13 inches and between 16 to 18 inches of snow in the bush, trails are so so we have experienced a couple melts and the bush is still running here and there starting tomorrow big chill coming so it will tighten up all the little streams, seems like every couple days we get a couple inches been great so far and every now and then Georgian Bay sends us a surprise storm, without the couple meltdowns we would have been up to our eyeballs in snow, winter is most definitely here.Rob
